Setu is a Chrome extension built by Studio Mool that helps designers generate prompts for AI coding agents.

What we collect

Setu collects anonymous usage analytics to understand how the extension is used. This includes events such as opening the extension, picking an element, generating a prompt, and copying it. No personally identifiable information is collected.

An anonymous random ID is generated on first use and stored locally in your browser. This ID is used solely to distinguish unique users in aggregate analytics. It cannot be used to identify you.

What we do not collect

• We do not collect names, email addresses, or any personal identifiers
• We do not collect or store the content of the prompts you generate
• We do not access any websites other than localhost and 127.0.0.1
• We do not collect any information from the pages you visit

How we use analytics

Analytics are sent to PostHog, a third-party analytics service, using an anonymous ID. This data is used only to improve Setu. It is never sold or shared with third parties.

Data storage

Prompt history and preferences are stored locally in your browser using Chrome’s storage API. This data never leaves your device.
